Born in Buruburu Phase 4, Nairobi
Chege was born on January 12th, 1990 to Samuel Mwangi and Naomi Nyambura, bringing immeasurable joy and blessing to his family. He was the 2nd of 3 children, with elder brother Christopher Wambugu and younger brother Danroy Ndung'u.
Family Bonds
Chege was a lovable boy who loved spending time with his family, cousins and friends. He loved participating in meat roasting and bonding with cousins, uncles, aunties and grandparents.
Primary Education
Chege began his educational journey at Bidii Primary School, laying the foundation for his academic pursuits.
High School Years
He attended Aquinas High School, where he developed an early interest in computer hardware that would shape his future career.
Diploma in Information Technology
Chege pursued a Diploma in Information Technology at the Nairobi Institute of Business Studies (NIBS). During this time he was actively involved in various interests like basketball and served as a dedicated member of the Red Cross Society.
Career Direction
He took a keen interest in occupational safety that later guided his career progression seeing Chege pursue extensive training and certifications in this line of work.
First Professional Role
His first professional role began at Forward Technologies Ltd, Nairobi serving as a Technical Consultant & IT Technical assistant.
Fire Safety Technician
His interest in occupational safety had him join Perigrinus Fire & Engineering Ltd, Nairobi as a technician performing periodic preventive maintenance for fire alarm and firefighting systems. During this time he began training in certification of maintenance of fire systems.
International Career Begins
In 2020, Chege decided to pursue work in Qatar. He joined VIRTUAL BRIDGE FOR TECHNOLOGY, Qatar as a Fire Alarm, Fire Fighting System, and CCTV Technician. He maintained and installed sophisticated fire safety systems.
Professional Development
While working, he studied Occupational Safety and Health Technology at the Leaders Training Centre, Qatar and achieved a credit grade.
Advanced Professional Role
This enabled him join CESCO CONSOLIDATED ENGINEERING SYSTEMS COMPANY, Qatar as a Fire Fighting Technician where he worked as a maintenance technician for Qatar government schools, provided technical and contributed to various new installation projects throughout Qatar.
Heavenly Transition
On March 29th, 2025, Chege was called by the Lord to rest in eternal peace. After a short illness, he fell into a peaceful sleep, where the Lord welcomed him into His eternal embrace.
